Research Focus

In October 2015, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved the first clinical virotherapy for cancer treatment. However, this therapy was limited to intra-tumoral injection, restricting its broader application across different tumor types. Acknowledging this limitation, our team is dedicated to advancing virotherapy by addressing the challenges of systemic delivery. Through innovative approaches such as chemical modifications, antibody engineering, and nanotechnology, we aim to improve the stability and effectiveness of viral therapies during circulation. These enhancements will enable more efficient delivery to tumors throughout the body, expanding the treatment's therapeutic potential and overall efficacy.
