The Objective
We are committed to cultivate future pharmacologists that may contribute to our country’s pharmacological research and pharmaceutical industry.
Our faculty members are academic scholars recruited from within our country and worldwide. They contribute a top-quality graduate and research programs within our department. Currently we have 12 full-time faculty members, including 8 professors, 3 associate professors, 1 assistant professor, 2 adjunct professors, 9 joint-appointe professors. Our research projects are multi-disciplines, including Molecular Biology, Experimental Pharmacology, Molecular Pharmacology, Behavioral Neuropharmacoloy, Mitogenes & Oncogenes, Advanced Neurophysiology, Development Of CNS Drugs, Central Electrophysiology, Independent Study of Molecular Cancer Biology, Special Topics on Metabolic Diseases, Nutrigenomics, Research Ethics and Thesis Writing, Introduction to Biotech, Pharmaceutical, and Agricultural Industries.
In order to boarden the scientific view of our students, we regularly invite national/international renowned scientists to deliver lectures on the current development of pharmacology or cutting-edge researches to our students. Moreover, we also regularly offer integrated inter-faculty and inter-departmental courses with a wide range of knowledge and skills. We also encourage small group discussion among students. Furthermore, post-graduate students may involve in the teaching of undergraduate courses to improve their teaching skills.
With scientific knowledge, research and communication abilities, that should enable them to be successful in their future careers.
